On My Terms is a record label that is a testament to the vision and sound of its founder, Detroit artist Soul Goodman.

In an industry saturated with labels that only release music that falls into a particular genre, On My Terms has other plans. While you’d be hard pressed the put your finger on the specific “sound” of their releases, a certain vibe is always consistent. Whether you’re getting down on a peak-hour dance floor, or getting shit done during your workday, On My Terms has the groove for you.

The inaugural release, “Exhibit A,” is a four-track EP produced by Goodman himself. The name gives a nod to both the start of the label, and Goodman’s roots as an attorney. Each track features pronounced basslines and the groovy, sexy, fun vibes quickly becoming synonymous with the label. Drawing inspiration from all forms of art, the music created at On My Terms looks to carve out its own corner of the Detroit electronic music scene and beyond. From vinyl releases to events, the label aims to create fresh music and experiences, all while fostering the creativity of new artists.
